What does it Take to Be a Leader?

We all want to be leaders. We like the energy and vibration even behind the word. We picture a leader as somebody powerful and in charge. A leader is a person, who controls the situation, influences, persuades, and makes a difference.

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader. ~John Quincy Adams

Let’s look at each one in more depth:

Words as Building Blocks of our Lives

“Words form the thread on which we string our experiences” ~Alcous Huxley

Why do words have such a tremendous impact on our lives? Why are they so important? Why do we need to be careful of our habitual vocabulary?

Words make us laugh or cry. Words wound or heal. Words offer us hope or devastation. Words deliver noblest intentions and make the deepest desires known. Words have transformational power to change the world.

Magician’s Secrets

“The world is a theater curtain behind which they hide the deepest secrets.” ~ Rabindranath Tagore

Magician’s Way

“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” ― Albert Einstein

Magician’s Way by William Whitecloud

What determines success in playing golf? Excellent performance of the techniques, the observance of rules, regulations and golf etiquette, practice and experience – would be the logical answer. But is it possible to be a good golf player without knowing any of the above? Turns out, you don’t need to know all the rules how to play golf; all you need to do is to focus on the target. There is only one rule in playing golf: hit a good shot. If you focus on the target, everything else comes together. But if you think about ending up with your body facing the target and transferring your weight and using timing instead of force, you’ll end up tied up in the knots and hit an ordinary shot.

The Rustle of the Morning Glory

We all need to ask ourselves from time to time, “Do I feel grateful for what is versus wondering what will or might be? How often do I feel defensive, find excuses, blame others and reinforce negative patterns of thinking? How often do I nurture my soul? How often do I feel joy over the little things?”

Do you know how beautiful the nature is in the morning? There is nothing like Florida Sunrise. The sky is covered with sleepy fluffy clouds reluctantly waking up and giving way to the light of the day. The city is still sleeping. The twittering birds and chirping grasshoppers create the melody of the morning. Oh, here they are, the first beams of the rising sun, spreading the golden light across the sky and reflecting all the beauty in a pensive lake.

The Long Journey Starts with The Empowering Choice

“I knew at that moment I had to make a choice… I could submit to everything and live a life of excuses, or I could push myself… I could push myself and make my life good…” ~ Liz Murray

Liz Murray’s life story Breaking Night, an incredible journey from homeless to Harvard, describes the ability and power to survive the hardship of drug-abusive parents, the suffering of being abandoned, hungry and rejected by society and prevail against all odds, taking control of her life. It is not a fairy tale; it is a real life-story full of disappointment, grief, adversity and belief as a turning point that everything can be changed for better.

Don’t Pretend

“You are one thing only. You are a Divine Being. An all-powerful Creator. You are a Deity in jeans and a t-shirt, and within you dwells the infinite wisdom of the ages and the sacred creative force of All that is, will be and ever was.”

Anthon St. Maarten

The Ultimate Power of Human Being or Human Being as a Mortal God

There is an interesting Hindus legend. It tells a story about times when men were gods. Eventually, men started abusing their divine power. Brahma, the chief god, decided to punish men by depriving them of their divinity and hiding it where it could never be found.

Powerful Driving Force Inside

“There is a powerful driving force inside every human being that once unleashed can make any vision, dream or desire a reality.” ~ Anthony Robbins

There is a thought-provoking tale that I want to share with you. A beggar had been sitting by the side of a road for over thirty years. One day a stranger walked by. “Spare some change?” mumbled the beggar, mechanically holding out his old baseball cap. “I have nothing to give you,” said the stranger. Then he asked: “What’s that you are sitting on?” “Nothing,” replied the beggar. “Just an old box. I have been sitting on it for as long as I can remember.” “Ever looked inside?” asked the stranger. “No,” said the beggar.
