Do you realize how special and unique you are? And it is not your fingerprints or the spiral of DNA that makes you exceptional. Your worthiness is your birthright. You don’t need to earn or deserve it. It is already given. You are enough. You are whole and complete, simply because you were born. Your true self contains every possibility. You carry a divine Godlike sparkle within you. It is the matter of realizing who you really are.
You have infinite all-encompassing creative power. You are a part of the universe and your life is self-expressive universe. You were meant to build and create. You have innate capacity to design your life. Make your life happen instead of having your life happen to you. Embrace your power! We all seem to know this truth but we barely ever benefit from it.
Let’s take a look at the world we live in. Let’s look at nature. Isn’t it impeccable and flawless? God’s creation is perfect. Have you noticed that every time you are face to face with nature, you feel blessed? Nature is silent, but it talks to those who listen. The perception of the mighty ocean, a peaceful lake, an evergreen forest, endless meadows, unlimited sky, etc. fulfills your heart. You embrace the smells, sensations, scenery… You feel great because the power of nature reminds you of your own power, as you are part of it all. This knowledge brings you back in sink with the energy of the universe.
Have you ever seen anything more perfect than a snowflake? Its intricacy, its design, its symmetry, its conformity to itself and originality from all else – all are a mystery. You wonder at the miracle of this awesome display of nature. Yet, if God (whatever your religion is) can do this with a single snowflake, what do you think He has done with the universe and human being?
I am not talking here about our talents and gifts (which, by the way, we all have), material possessions and social status, the outstanding results and impressive achievements, an amazing wife or a great husband… All these things matter and define the quality of our life. However, they are more of side effects of our true self and the realization of our genuine worthiness. It is not about resources, it is about resourcefulness. The outside things come together when we are connected to our true self.
I would love to relate one of my favorite stories. “A beggar had been sitting by the side of a road for over thirty years. One day a stranger walked by. “Spare some change?” mumbled the beggar, mechanically holding out his old baseball cap. “I have nothing to give you,” said the stranger. Then he asked: “What’s that you are sitting on?” “Nothing,” replied the beggar. “Just an old box. I have been sitting on it for as long as I can remember.” “Ever looked inside?” asked the stranger. “No,” said the beggar.
“What’s the point? There’s nothing in there.” “Have a look inside,” insisted the stranger. The beggar managed to pry open the lid. With astonishment, disbelief, and elation, he saw that the box was filled with gold.
Do you realize the true meaning expressed in this metaphor? The true comprehension of this tale reveals the self-knowledge of who we really are and what we are capable of. We have to discover this treasure hidden inside us simply by realizing it.
What is it? It is the ultimate unlimited power and human potential, which are capable of manifesting miracles. It is about faith in our inner power. Life opens up when we do. We can become gods capable of managing our own destiny by unleashing our inner strength and resourcefulness, and achieving a higher level of consciousness and self-empowerment. We carry all the answers within us.
There is no doubt that we are special, and perfect, and powerful! But do we really realize our potential?
Here is something to think about:
How creative are you?
What kind of thoughts are mostly in your mind?
What are your aspirations?
What do you believe about life, the universe, or about yourself?
Are you living your life to the fullest?
Are you getting the best out of every moment?
